Interesting manoeuvres by motorists Number 1
Overtaking a cyclist trying to turn right. Cyclist moves to the centre of the road, is clearly indicating the intention to turn right across the carriageway of the oncomming traffic. Motorist interprets this as a signal to overtake cyclist as they are turning and narrowly misses knocking cyclist off bike. Motorist is totally oblivious to the near disaster.

Integrated transport “My arse” as Jim Royle would say. And what about bikes? The bike racks are on the platform - how are you supposed to get a bike through the barriers? Presumably through the pushchair/disabled access, but what if you have a trailer or a Christiania bike? God knows how much public money was spent on turning the stairs around and putting in barriers in the early...
Tandem Spotted!
Spotted a tandem going past the end of our road today and overtook a guy even more laden down than me on my way home. Even the police all seemed to be on their bikes. Must’ve been the unseasonably sunny weather.
